How our package handles the hard parts
- The registered office. Delaware law requires your agent to maintain a Delaware office that's open for business, and forwarding services don't qualify. Ours meets that standard, and we send on anything served on your LLC.
- The bank application. Your application for our partners is assembled from your order before you've even signed the SS-4, with the Certificate of Formation attached. The moment you sign, it's ready for your approval; after that, we send it. Your EIN comes later and doesn't hold it up. Approval is up to our partners, not us.
- The EIN. We fill in the SS-4 under the IRS procedure for people without an SSN and fax it once you e-sign. Two to eight weeks is typical.
Your ongoing obligations
Delaware's annual LLC tax is due each June 1. Federal compliance is also yours: a single-member LLC with a foreign owner generally files Form 5472 with a pro forma 1120 every year. Our package doesn't include tax preparation, so find a professional who works with foreign owners.
